A pair of knives

Two knives, both made in a sanmai construction with C130 cores. One has carbon steel and nickel cladding, while the other has wrought iron. Both have a forged kurouchi finish with an etched bevel. These two are the first knives made with a new smaller maker mark that was designed specifically for smaller blades like these two. The handles are in a full tang construction. They both have brass pins. One knife has a Purple Heart handle and is oval in shape, and the other has boxwood scales with an octagonal shape.

Hardness: 65-66 HRC
