Sujihikis

Two new honyaki sujihikis. Both made from the same steel C130. They are differentially hardened to create a nice wavy line. This also adds strength to the blade as the dark waves are soft and ductile so the blade is much harder to break. Both of them were handpolished and etched to reveal the pattern. The blades are both around 275x43 mm with a thin spine at 1,8 mm so they are lasers. Both are hardened to 65 HRC. The handles are made from tigerwood and the western handled one has stainless steel pins holding the handle together.

The top knife with the European style handle is still available!
